When Someone Asks An AI Who To Hire, Be The Answer.

Your next customer might never type a search at all. They might just ask an assistant who the good one is in your town. We work on two things: making sure you get named in that answer, and teaching your team to use these tools without doing anything they will regret.

Getting Named When The Robot Answers

Ask ChatGPT for a good contractor in Rutland, or a bakery near Burlington, and it will give you names. Three or four of them. Not ten blue links, not a page of options, just a short list that somebody is on and everybody else is not.

That short list is not random and it is not for sale. These systems build it out of what they can find and trust about you: pages that answer real questions in plain language, business details that match everywhere they appear, reviews that sound like real customers, and mentions on the local sources the models already lean on.

It is a lot of unglamorous groundwork, and here is the good part: it is the same groundwork that wins local search. You are not choosing between being found by Google and being found by AI. You are doing one job that pays twice.

  • Question-led content, because AI answers are assembled out of answers, not keyword stuffing
  • Structured data and clean page markup so a machine can tell what you do and where you do it
  • Your name, address, hours, and services identical across every directory and profile we can reach
  • Local mentions and reviews, which is what these models use to decide you are safe to recommend
  • Monthly checks on what the major assistants actually say when asked about your service and your town
  • Fixes when they get you wrong, which happens more than you would think

Teach Your People. Give Them Their Week Back.

The other half of this is much less abstract. Most small business owners we meet have already tried ChatGPT, got something mediocre, and quietly went back to doing it by hand. That is not a technology problem, it is a training problem.

We sit down with your team, look at what actually eats their week, and show them how to hand the right parts of it to a machine. Estimates and quotes. Customer follow-ups. Turning one long thing into ten short things. Job postings. Meeting notes. The writing nobody wants to do and everybody puts off.

Then we do the part almost nobody does: we write down the rules. What is safe to paste into a chat window, what absolutely is not, and who checks the output before it goes to a customer. One page, in plain English, so a new hire can read it on their first morning.

  • Hands-on sessions with your actual team and your actual work, not a generic webinar
  • A prompt library saved for the jobs you do every week, so nobody starts from a blank box
  • Honest tool recommendations, including the free ones, and which paid ones are worth it for your size
  • A written AI usage policy covering customer data, confidentiality, and who reviews what
  • A look at where automation genuinely helps and where it will quietly create more work
A rocket launch, illustrating a team getting off the ground with new tools

What AI Cannot Do For You

Everyone selling AI right now is telling you what it can do. Here is the other list, because you are going to need it.

It Cannot Be You

It does not know that the Hoffmans always want the invoice mailed, or why you never subcontract that one job. Your judgment and your relationships are the business. Those are not automatable and you should be glad.

It Will State Wrong Things Confidently

Prices, dates, names, regulations, and whole citations that do not exist, all delivered in the same calm tone as the truth. Anything that goes to a customer gets checked by a human. No exceptions.

It Cannot Replace Real Reviews

Or real photos, or real references. The trust signals that make people call you have to be earned from actual customers, and faking them is both obvious and a fast way to lose a Google profile.

It Cannot Keep A Secret

Treat a consumer chat window like a public forum. No customer records, no payment details, nothing under a confidentiality agreement or HIPAA. This is the rule people break first and regret most.

It Cannot Buy You A Placement

There is no AI ad slot, no vendor pipeline, no shortcut into the answer. If someone claims they can guarantee you a ChatGPT recommendation, keep your money in your pocket.

It Cannot Fix A Weak Offer

If your pricing, your service, or your follow-up is the problem, faster content just tells more people about the problem. We would rather help you fix the offer first.

How This Actually Goes

Two to four weeks to the first round of fixes and the first training session, then ongoing.

1

Ask The Robots

We ask the major assistants about your service and your towns and record exactly what they say. Sometimes it is nothing. Sometimes it is a competitor. Sometimes it is wrong about you, which is worse.

2

Clean The Record

Business details, structured data, profiles, and the pages that answer the questions people actually ask. This is the groundwork that both AI and local search read.

3

Train The Team

Sessions on your real work, a prompt library for the jobs you repeat, and the written policy so everyone knows the lines.

4

Check And Adjust

Monthly re-asking, monthly reporting, and content added where the answers still are not naming you. This field changes fast, so the work keeps moving with it.

No Mystery Pricing

How the AI work is priced

Flat monthly for the visibility side, and a one-time project fee for training, with an ongoing option if you want us back for new hires and new tools.

AI visibility is monthly, because it is ongoing work: content, structure, monitoring, and corrections. It overlaps heavily with local search, so if you are already doing Local with us, this costs considerably less than buying it on its own. We will point that out rather than letting you pay twice for the same groundwork.

Training is a project: sessions with your team, the prompt library, the tool setup, and the written policy. Priced on how many people and how many workflows, quoted in writing before we start.

AI Questions, Answered Like Humans

We can make you much more likely to be mentioned, and we will not promise more than that. Nobody can buy a placement in an AI answer, and anyone who tells you they can is selling you something that does not exist.

What we can do is make your business easy for those systems to understand and safe for them to recommend: clear, factual pages that answer real questions, consistent details everywhere you are listed, strong reviews, and mentions on the local sources these models lean on. That is the same groundwork that local search rewards, which is a nice thing about this work: none of it is wasted.

It is changing how people ask, more than where they go. A growing share of searches now get answered on the page instead of sending a click, and a growing share of people open ChatGPT or Gemini first for the “who should I hire” kind of question.

That does not mean Google is finished. It means the winner of a question is increasingly the business that got named in the answer, not the one that ranked fifth. So we work on both, because your customers use both.

Not the way you are worried about. We use AI the way a carpenter uses a power tool: for research, outlines, first drafts, and the tedious parts. A person with a name and a reputation edits everything, adds the details only a human who talked to you would know, and takes responsibility for it.

Unedited AI copy reads like unedited AI copy. Your customers can tell, search engines can increasingly tell, and it does not sell anything.

The practical things that give hours back: drafting and cleaning up customer emails, turning one long piece into ten short ones, summarizing notes and calls, writing job postings and SOPs, first-pass research, and handling the repetitive writing nobody on your staff wants.

We also teach the guardrails, which is honestly the more valuable half: what never goes into a chat window, how to check what comes back, and where a human absolutely has to stay in the loop.
