Frequently Asked Questions

Everything people ask us before they hire us: pricing, timelines, contracts, and what actually happens once we start. No jargon, no dodging, no “it depends” without a real answer attached.

Ask Us Something Else

Getting Started

We talk. That is it. No slide deck, no 40-minute pitch. We ask about your business, what you have tried, what is working, and where you feel stuck. Then we tell you what we would do first and roughly what it costs.

If we are not the right fit, we will say so and point you somewhere better. The call runs about 30 minutes and you leave with at least one thing you can act on whether you hire us or not.

For our monthly marketing work, no. That is month to month, and project work like a website build has a defined scope and timeline so you always know what you are paying for and when it ships.

There is one exception, and we would rather be upfront about it. If you roll the cost of your website build into your monthly plan instead of paying for the build separately, we do require a contract that runs until the build is paid off, and the site is not yours until that last payment clears. Pay for the build on its own and none of that applies.

Most clients are kicked off within a week of saying yes. Google Business Profile and social work can start almost immediately. A full website build usually starts within two weeks and takes four to eight weeks, depending on the scope of the site and how quickly we get content, feedback, and approvals from you.

Less than you think. We need access to whatever already exists (your website, Google Business Profile, social accounts), plus a short intake questionnaire and roughly an hour of your time up front.

After that, expect one short check-in a month. We do the work; you approve the direction.

Pricing and Budget

It depends on what you need, and we will never quote you before we understand that. Monthly plans start around $589 for focused work like Google Business Profile management and review generation, and go up from there into the low thousands for full-service marketing with content, ads, and reporting.

Websites are quoted as projects. You will get a flat number, in writing, before anything starts.

No surprises. Everything is spelled out in your proposal before you sign anything. If something outside the scope comes up mid-month, we tell you what it costs and wait for a yes.

No, and be careful with any agency that blurs the two. Your ad budget goes directly to Google or Meta. Our management fee is separate and covers strategy, creative, targeting, and optimization.

You always keep ownership of your ad accounts.

We will do it. But here is what we honestly believe: marketing should be bundled. Your website, your Google Business Profile, your reviews, your social, and your ads all feed each other, and the biggest, fastest results happen when they are all being worked on at the same time instead of one at a time.

So if you only want one piece, we are glad to take it on and do it well. We will just be straight with you about what that one piece can and cannot move on its own.

Services and Scope

Web design and optimization, local SEO and Google Business Profile management, social media management, content creation, copywriting, email marketing, paid advertising on Google and Meta, marketing strategy, technology support, event promotion, and fundraising support.

You can see the full breakdown on our services page.

Vermont first, always, because it is home. From there we work across New England and New York, and we will take on a business anywhere in the US when the fit is right. Local SEO is local wherever you are, and the playbook travels.

Yes, once it is paid for. Your domain, your hosting, your content, your accounts. If you ever leave, you take all of it with you.

The one exception is a build you are paying off through your monthly plan. Until that final payment clears the site stays ours, and the day it clears it is fully yours. What we will never do is hold a paid-for website hostage.

We write it. Copywriting is included in web builds and content packages, and we handle captions, blog posts, emails, and ad copy as part of ongoing work.

You review everything before it goes live. If you love writing and want to draft it yourself, we will edit and optimize instead. Some clients prefer that.

Yes. On-location photo and video shoots are one of our favorite parts of the job. We build you a content library so you are not scrambling for something to post three weeks from now.

Results and Reporting

Paid ads can produce leads quickly, because you are buying attention outright. Everything else compounds. Realistically, results start showing up around the three month mark and keep building from there. It is a slow start that climbs, not a switch we flip.

Anyone promising page one in two weeks is selling you something that will not last.

No, and neither can anyone else honestly. Google does not sell guarantees. What we do guarantee is the work: the optimizations, the content, the reporting, and a clear explanation of what moved and why.

A report in plain English, monthly or quarterly depending on your plan. It covers what we did, what changed, and what is next, with real numbers: calls, form fills, search visibility, engagement, and ad performance.

No 40-page PDF of vanity charts. If a number went the wrong way, we tell you that too.

By whether your phone rings more. Rankings and impressions are inputs; calls, bookings, form submissions, and revenue are the outcomes. We set the targets with you during onboarding so we are both grading the same test.

Working With Us

A small team that knows your account. Today that is Michael and Kayla, the two owners, and we are hiring as we grow, so some of your day to day may run through someone we have brought on. Either way you are not getting passed around a call center, and the owners stay involved in the strategy.

Meet the team on our about page.

However you prefer: email, phone, or text. We answer within one business day, and usually much faster. You get real phone numbers, not a ticket queue.

Give us 30 days notice on monthly work and we part as friends. We will hand over access, files, and anything in progress. No exit fees, no hard feelings, and the door stays open.

The only balance that survives a cancellation is a website build you are still paying off, which runs until it is settled.

No. We will not take on two businesses competing for the same customers in the same county. If we are working with you, we are working for you. Outside of that county there is no conflict, and if one does exist we will tell you before you ever pay us anything.

Often, yes. Sometimes we fill a gap, whether that is ads, content production, or technical SEO, while your in-house person keeps doing what they do well. We are happy to play a supporting role.
